Top Notch Photographers!!

Wow is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about my brother and my new sister’s wedding. I being the younger protective sister, wanted to make sure everything went perfect for them on their special day. I have been in the wedding industry for almost 12 years so I have seen my share of photographers. Kat and Mike are truly top notch, I mean seriously, TOP NOTCH. They both went absolutely above and beyond to make their day perfect. They showed up the perfect amount of early, with the biggest smiles ready to jump right in. Kat and Mike were professional, quick (a huge important factor to keeping things on time), and perfectly captured the raw emotions of the day. They provided sneak peaks within 48 hours, and not just 5 photos, like 200?!! The photos are incredible. Most dream about their wedding day for many many years and looking at the photos are actually reliving the dream. I am so impressed with Created Coastal Photography, I highly recommend anyone looking for a photographer to reach out to Kat and Mike. They will provide the most amazing images of one of the most important days of your life.

For curling her hair when you noticed it needed a retouch, for calming the nerves before the big moments, and making something that can be awkward look and feel so natural. We are eternally grateful.

Great photography, wonderful people

Working with Kat and Mike was a pleasure from the start. After we contacted them, they scheduled a phone call to get a sense of who we are and what we were looking for in wedding photographers. Before the wedding itself, we got together at a bar to have a casual conversation and get to know more about each other, which made it more comfortable having them as a part of our wedding.
On our wedding day itself, they were great about staying in contact with us and communicating what was happening and when. They arrived in the bridal suite on time to take some getting ready photos and detail shots. The two of them divided and conquered in this environment and were able to get all the photos needed before we started the first look and family photos in a short time frame.
We then went to Roger Williams Park to take photos before the wedding. They were great in this environment, despite several other photo shoots happening there and were great at finding the right spots to take our photos amongst all the activity--it looks like we are the only ones there!
Once we got to the venue, they were able to take some additional photos of us, the couple, before the ceremony started and then take wonderful photos of the ceremony, start of the reception, and a few more group shots.
We hired them for their elopement/small wedding package, which is only four hours, but they weren't watching the clock and spent the time with us to make sure we had all the photos we wanted.
Whenever something needed to be rescheduled, like our initial phone call, they reached out in a timely fashion and made it clear that they would be flexible if we couldn't accomodate a new time.
After working with them, it's obvious that Kat and Mike love what they do and want you to have a great time while getting great photos. They know how to bring out sweet moments through impromptu "games" that create more candid looking photos, as well as capturing formal portraits. They had great ideas for our venue, a vintage bowling alley, as well as incorporating ideas we had for our photos. We would definitely recommend them.

We are so glad we chose Created Coastal for photo and video services of our wedding! Kat and Mike were so easy to work with and very attentive to capturing the vision we wanted for our big day. Neither of us love to be photographed, but they made taking wedding photos very light, comfortable, and actually fun! We appreciated how flexible Kat and Mike were with the timelines of our day and how they adapted easily to some hiccups from our other vendors. We will cherish our wedding photos and videos forever and are so grateful for their hard work!

Kat and Mike really were the greatest gift we received for our wedding! Kat kept everything moving and on time while still delivering some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen! I can not recommend them more, they were always on time and more than willing to help with other things going on that day! And as some of my fellow brides might not know yet, you might need a breather here and there. Kat was always there to let me take a breathe and a sip of water lol! Seriously they’re amazing and I can’t wait to see the video once it’s done! Seriously amazing!

We are so happy with decided to go with the following photography company for our special day. The pictures we will have on our wall forever so we can remember the fairy tail day we had with each other for the rest of our lives ! The Babcock’s

Kat and Mike were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. After seeing their work on Instagram we immediately knew we wanted them to photograph our day. We have a toddler and baby (who is picky about who he likes) Kat had both of them smiling and was able to capture the sweetest pictures. Even though we had a small wedding they made us feel so special and that meant so much to us. From start to finish (including Kat pushing a stroller through the woods) their professionalism, flexibility and creative eye made our day perfect.

They are so talented in their own way and because they come together the photos are MAGIC. They capture the most perfect moments especially the genuine ones which makes their photography so different from anyone else. Engagement Shoot

Kat & Mike from Created Coastal Photography were amazing to work with! They provided excellent direction during the entire photoshoot and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We received our photos in less than a week (even after they traveled across the country) and our photos exceeded expectations!

Amazing people and photos

Kat and Mike are amazing at what they do! They did our engagement shoot, and the pictures came out better then I could've ever imagined!! They made us feel comfortable during the shoot, and the poses were creative and photographed so well. The edits made the pictures look so magical while still be natural and not "too edited". Kat and Mike are exceptional!!

Not only did they take amazing photographs but were so professional and helpful the whole day of our wedding! They made sure we stayed on time and had everything we needed, Kat also was so amazing in making me feel calm! They had over 200 photos for us for our "sneak peak" and every single picture is amazing! The day goes by so quickly for the bride and groom and we are just so happy to have the day so beautifully documented in these pictures!! Thank you guys so much for being absolutely outstanding!

Can not recommend them enough!!

Choosing Kat & Mike as our wedding photographers was probably the easiest decision that we made during the whole planning process. After finding them through the internet I absolutely loved the style of their photos & didn’t even contact another photographer. Meeting up with them was seamless and felt like we were having a beer with friends we’ve had forever & immediately felt like we made the best decision possible. They met up with us again for a venue walk through to make our plan which was another layer of reassurance that they genuinely care about making your day great. The day of the wedding deserves a whole other layer of 5 stars because Kat & Mike were above and beyond exceptional. They were so professional and made us feel so comfortable (as incredibly awkward as we are) We had a hefty request of getting a photo of all of our guests in one photo and they were standing on chairs and moving furniture to make it work. We had multiple guests come up to us to say how impressed they were with Kat and Mike and how lucky we were to find them. Their natural eye for beautiful photos is only a small part of what makes them so great. Its just over a month later, we’ve already gotten our photos (so fast!!) & I really am still so in awe of them and can’t stop gushing.

Stop Searching!

Kat photographed my family and I for a Fall session. We have a young baby who was on the move and fussy at times during our session. She made it a breeze. We were SO happy with the results and couldn't believe how many good shots she got. The vibe of the photos is spot on with what I was hoping for. It was also SUPER windy outside which our baby wasn't sure about and she directed us to spots along the beach which kept us out of the breeze and protected. The shoot felt really effortless for us. We've had professional photos taken before by other photographers, and it has been tiring in the past and posing so much can feel awkward. Kat not only kept it light and easy, but also provided suggestions when we needed help. It really felt like zero work for us which was awesome. It was sort of like hanging out with a friend while they took amazing photos of you. ;) The editing of the photos was prompt, and delivery/download was easy peazy. Cannot recommend enough. If you've been searching, just stop and go with Kat & Mike (created coastal)!

Engagement session

I don’t have enough good things to say about Kat and Mike. I hired Created Coastal for my engagement photos and had the best experience! As someone who hates being photographed, I was very nervous for my session. Kat and Mike made the whole thing such a fun experience! They made me feel comfortable and gave helpful direction. The pictures I got as a result are STUNNING. The photos are a professional quality and look like a fairy tale. My only complaint is they made it impossible to pick just one photo for my save the dates! :) I am so excited to have them be a part of my wedding next September. I highly recommend Created Coastal for your photographer!
