Block Island Wedding Bells

We love a good Block Island Wedding! After being featured in Block Island Weddings Magazine for 2021 we have had quite a bit of interest towards Created Coastal!

One of which was this lovely couple!

Something we love doing is asking our couples how they met… Well this one takes the cake so far, because this one includes Sarah’s cat Oscar (De La Renta the second). After a multiple hour delayed flight at the airport, poor Oscar was not feeling too great in his crate and happened to have code brown (as Mike and I now call it whenever our daughter lets out a surprise). Well poor Sarah immediately started tending to her fur baby which consequently ended up with the code brown ending up on her sweater. Distraught and flustered she asked a (cute) stranger to watch her belongings and fur baby while she ran to the bathroom to dispose of her now code brown sweater and clean up. Well much to their surprise this stranger and her ended up having seats right next to each other… Years later here we are, Oscar now has two human parents.

We have not yet shared the “kitty shoot” as we are calling their engagement shoot, but you better know we will be soon!

Congratulations Sarah & Smaran! Shout out to Oscar for being the best wing kitty anyone can ask for!
